Responsibilities

The Accountant is responsible for maintaining a log of all journal entries and preparing the majority of the journal entries in the general ledger. Responsible for reconciling all balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis. Is responsible for the calculating and reconciling depreciation of all the fixed assets accounts. The Accountant is responsible for preparing bank reconciliation on a monthly basis. Prepares annual work papers for year-end audits.

Qualifications

 

 

Required qualifications:

 

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent 2. Working knowledge of windows based personal computers.3. Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and prioritization skills

Preferred qualifications:

 

1. One or more years of hospital/healthcare accounting/finance experience2. Proficient in business software applications3. Full cycle accounting experience

Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options.  Benefits may vary based on employment status, i.e. full-time, part-time, per diem or temporary.  A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $70,304.00 to $99,590.40 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
