We are seeking a dedicated and capable individual to take on the role of Accounting Manager. In this position, you will be the driving force behind our company's financial operations, overseeing critical functions such as accounts payable, billing, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and financial statement preparation. Your main goal will be to continuously enhance the efficiency and accuracy of our monthly closing process. Working closely with the Chief Financial Officer, you will also lead our corporate accounting team. We are looking for a candidate who excels in both internal and external collaboration and communication, initiates process improvements, manages time effectively, and leads a team of professionals. In addition to your responsibilities in the monthly closing process, you will also be responsible for leading company audits, conducting accounting research, and performing financial analysis.?DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct monthly reviews of corporate financials, providing budget-to-actual variance analysis.?
Review and approve account reconciliations on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.?
Monitor and verify the accuracy of invoices while ensuring effective collections.?
Manage weekly Accounts Payable check runs, including invoice approvals and payment selection.?
Contribute to the annual budgeting process by overseeing the Corporate budgeting tool, reviewing financial data for accuracy, and addressing inquiries from market leads.?
Lead the annual Service Organization Control (SOC) audit by coordinating with external audit firms, facilitating information exchange between internal stakeholders and external auditors, assisting in drafting the report, and conducting periodic internal audits.?
Stay up to date on current and emerging accounting topics relevant to the company and prepare whitepapers and memos based on your research.?
Prepare monthly reports, including a reporting package for the CEO and parent company, as well as monthly financials for market leads.?
Provide support for the annual financial statement audit by supplying requested financial information, responding to inquiries, and serving as the primary point of contact.?
Manage and coordinate the annual operating budget process.?
Supervise accounting personnel and ensure their professional growth.?
Undertake special projects, analysis, and reporting as requested.?
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.?
A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant professional experience.?
Preferably, at least 3 years of experience in responsible leadership roles.?
Proficiency in MS Office Applications and a capacity to learn department and job-specific software systems.?
