Accounting Staff

Position Summary

Psomagen, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Staff to join our Accounting department.

This entry-level accounting position primarily focuses on Accounts Receivable operations and is structured as a growth-track role designed to expand into broader accounting and financial reporting responsibilities over time.

This position will be based in the Psomagen office in Rockville, Maryland.

Responsibilities 

• Issue and review invoices accurately
• Manage accounts receivable and monitor aging
• Verify and record incoming payments (check, ACH, credit card)
• Prepare AR and revenue-related reports
• Support monthly closing process
• Assist with audit documentation
• Assist in preparing financial reports for headquarters

The role also provides exposure to financial reporting and internal control processes within a publicly listed company environment.

With demonstrated performance and capability, responsibilities may expand in stages:

• Full ownership of AR operations
• Participation in monthly closing procedures
• Revenue account analysis and reconciliation
• Support in financial statement preparation
• Transition into broader general accounting responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
• Bilingual in Korean and English (required for reporting and business communication)
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Desire to grow within the accounting profession
