  • Track major initiatives, deliverables, and metrics to ensure accountability and follow-through.
  • Identify and eliminate operational bottlenecks, driving efficiency across Finance, Accounting, Procurement, and Investor Relations.
  • Partner with HR and Communications to strengthen the Finance organization’s culture, engagement, and internal communications.

Leadership and Influence

  • Act as a thought partner and sounding board to the CFO and CFO Lead Team.
  • Serve as an internal consultant on high-priority projects, integrating cross-functional perspectives to support data-driven decision-making.

  • Execution of special initiatives delivering measurable improvements in financial performance, efficiency, or governance.

What Success Looks Like

  • The CFO operates with increased leverage, focus, and strategic capacity.
  • The Finance function demonstrates improved coordination, communication, and execution discipline.
  • Key cross-functional initiatives (e.g., budgeting, opex optimization, capital strategy, audits) run smoothly and on schedule.
  • Myriad’s leadership team views Finance as a proactive, collaborative business partner.
  • The Chief of Staff is regarded as a credible, trusted advisor capable of anticipating issues and driving resolution.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of healthcare, diagnostics, or life sciences business models and revenue dynamics.
  • Exceptional executive communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives and drive outcomes through influence.
