Accountabilities
  • Serve as a strategic finance partner to regional and market leadership, connecting financial performance with operational effectiveness and value-based care outcomes.
  • Partner directly with value-based providers to review financial performance, membership trends, costs, utilization, contractual results, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Present provider performance trends, financial insights, and improvement opportunities to providers and senior leadership.
  • Analyze market financials, claims experience, utilization, membership movement, risk adjustment impacts, medical cost drivers, and provider contract performance.
  • Support market budgeting, forecasting, administrative planning, and recurring financial performance reviews.
  • Lead financial analysis for strategic initiatives involving market optimization, value-based care performance, cost containment, and growth.
  • Advise regional leadership on significant financial strategies, business performance issues, and opportunities for operational improvement.
  • Monitor enterprise initiatives and assess their financial and operational impact across the market.
  • Lead special projects requiring cross-functional collaboration, structured analysis, and executive-level recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience working with value-based contracts and/or value-based providers.
  • 4+ years of management experience with demonstrated ability to lead teams, initiatives, or complex workstreams.
  • 5+ years of project leadership experience, including cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Proven experience advising senior leadership on financial strategies and business performance.
  • 2+ years of experience using SQL or other data-analysis tools to evaluate complex financial and operational information.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare financial performance, claims, utilization, provider economics, and value-based care concepts.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to translate data into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong executive communication and presentation skills, including confidence working directly with senior leaders and external provider stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, lead special projects, and build effective cross-functional partnerships.
  • Must reside in Florida.
  • For remote work, a reliable internet connection is required, with minimum speeds of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload, along with a dedicated workspace suitable for protecting confidential health information.
  • Occasional travel to company offices for meetings or training may be required.
