Finance & Administrative Coordinator

Knoxville, TN | Full-Time | Monday–Friday | $22–$24/hour

 

About the Role

We are a growing home care organization looking for a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Finance & Administrative Coordinator to help manage the day-to-day financial processes of our company.

This is a hands-on administrative finance role. You will help ensure that payroll, billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and QuickBooks are accurate, organized, and completed on time.

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with numbers, systems, and details—and who takes pride in getting things done correctly.

What You'll Do

  • Assist with weekly payroll processing and review caregiver hours for accuracy
  • Process Bi-Weekly Billing and Invoicing, as well as, LTC Submissions
  • Monitor Accounts Payable & Receivable
  • Manage VA Billing w/ Paradigm claims & management – monthly calls
  • Manage Synapticure claims and management as needed
  • Enter and process vendor invoices and accounts payable
  • Maintain QuickBooks and enter financial transactions
  • Reconcile bank and credit card transactions
  • Upload payments/checks received and research billing discrepancies
  • Maintain organized financial records and documentation
  • Assist with employee reimbursements and mileage
  • Help identify missing information, errors, or issues before they become problems

What We're Looking For

The right person will be:

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Dependable with strong follow-through
  • Comfortable working with numbers
  • Experienced with or willing to learn QuickBooks
  • Comfortable handling confidential information
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • A strong communicator who works well independently and with a team

Preferred Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping, payroll, billing, accounts payable/receivable, or a similar role
  • QuickBooks experience
  • Payroll experience
  • Healthcare or home care experience is a plus

A degree in accounting or finance is not required. We value practical experience, organization, accuracy, and a strong work ethic.
