RxSight® is an ophthalmic medical technology corporation headquartered in Aliso Viejo, California that has commercialized the world’s first and only adjustable intraocular lens (IOL) that is customized after cataract surgery. The company’s mission is to revolutionize the premium cataract surgery experience by allowing surgeons to partner with their patients to achieve optimized results for every unique eye.


OVERVIEW:

The Manager, FP&A is responsible for the monthly budget versus actual analysis company wide, including the monthly review with departmental heads, the ongoing business reforecast (quarterly/monthly), annual budget schedule preparation and maintenance (P&L, Cash Flows and Capital), rolling forecasts and ad hoc financial analysis as required. The Manager, FP&A is also responsible for the maintenance of Vena Financial System and ensuring accuracy of the financial statement reporting and compliance with SOX 404 (b). The Manager also responsible for developing and driving partnerships between Finance, Accounting, and all departments while supporting quantitative analysis around RxSight’s key business drivers.  

Requirements

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the development/implementation of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, and Modeling tools
  • Analyze current and past trends in revenue, expenses and capital expenditures 
  • Monitor monthly performance, highlighting trends and analyzing cause of unexpected variance
  • Lead annual, quarterly and ad-hoc forecasting worldwide, establishing and communicating process deliverables, and driving global execution.
  • Proactively identify and implement process efficiencies to improve productivity and quality of forecasts.
  • Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis
  • Develop cross-department partnerships to implement new key business initiatives. Ability to communicate and drive operational performance with members of the C-Suite
  • Participate in/develop other management reporting (key performance indicators, sales, etc.) as requested
  • Prepare/Support preparation of Board/Sr. Management Presentations of Financial Projections

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong leadership skills required.
  • Advanced understanding of U.S. GAAP
  • Advanced analytical, problem solving and system skills 
  • Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized.
  • Articulate, with excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Ability to think creatively, highly driven and self-motivated
  • Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on capacity
  • Strong Microsoft Suite, EPM(Vena Skills), and ERP (QAD skills)
  • Ability to learn new business requirements and adapt to change

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and TRAINING:

  • 10+ years of Finance & Accounting Experience
  • BS in Finance or Accounting required; MBA or CPA preferred 
  • Must be flexible and adaptable to change
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize multiple projects under tight deadlines and work independently
  • Ability to work professionally with all levels of management

  • Training to be completed per the training plan for this position as maintained in the document control system
  • The training requirements on TRN-10007 Insider Trading Policy, TRN-10008 Global Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Policy and TRN-10009 Code of Business Conducts and Ethics must be diligently completed within 30 days from the hiring date and on an annual basis
