Dental Associates MN is a multi-location dental group dedicated to providing high-quality, affordable care to our community. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Payroll & Accounting Specialist to join our team and play a key role in supporting our financial operations.

What You’ll Do

Payroll (Core Focus)

• Process bi-weekly and monthly payroll accurately and on time
• Review and verify payroll data including wages, deductions, and benefits
• Maintain payroll records and resolve discrepancies
• Support employee questions related to payroll and benefits

Accounting & Finance

• Manage accounts payable from invoice receipt through payment
• Assist with month-end close and financial reporting
• Prepare quarterly sales tax filings
• Support audits and work with external accounting partners
• Help maintain accurate financial records and reporting

Additional Support

• Assist with benefits administration (enrollments, updates, employee questions)
• Support process improvements and help streamline workflows
• Provide administrative support across departments as needed

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in payroll, accounts payable, or accounting
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience with accounting or payroll systems (QuickBooks, Paylocity a plus)
• Comfortable working with numbers, systems, and spreadsheets
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Nice to Have (Not Required):

• Experience with Paylocity
• Experience in healthcare or dental
• Experience in a multi-location or multi-entity environment
