Position Details 

  • Pay: $80,000.00 - 110,000.00 per year
  • Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
  • Location: In-person

 

As a Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager, you will:

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and supporting schedules.
  • Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
  • Analyze general ledger activity and investigate discrepancies to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Perform reconciliations for cash, fixed assets, prepaid expenses, liabilities, and other balance sheet accounts.
  • Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and responding to auditor requests.
  • Evaluate and enhance accounting processes, workflows, and internal controls to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
  • Assist with tax filings, regulatory reporting, and other compliance-related activities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across the organization to support business initiatives and financial reporting needs.
  • Participate in ERP implementations, system upgrades, and process automation projects.
  • Oversee the administration of corporate insurance programs, serving as the key point of contact for brokers, carriers, and internal stakeholders to ensure adequate coverage, timely renewals, and compliance with contractual requirements.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5-8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Strong experience in financial reporting, general ledger accounting, and account reconciliations.
  • Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience developing, implementing, or maintaining internal controls.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A activities.
  • Experience mentoring staff, leading projects, or supervising team members.
  • Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar systems.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA designation or active CPA candidate.
  • Public accounting experience.
