Job Description
About the Role:
As a valued member of our team, you will support the billing and collection function for Community Mental Health & Wellness programs. This includes developing and documenting operating procedures, managing input and the integrity of the billing and information system, and managing, delegating, and performing daily and on-going tasks so that billing is complete and accurate, revenues collected are maximized, and problems are resolved expeditiously.
Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration is required. Five years of experience in a progressively responsible supervisory and management position dealing with billing and insurance required. Alternatively, eight years of billing and insurance experience, with an associate’s degree will be considered equivalent to the bachelor's degree requirement.
Extensive knowledge of medical coding, working with Carelogic or similar electronic health records preferred. Experience of billing government grants/contracts preferred.
