About the Role

As a key member of the FP&A organization, the Senior Financial Analyst will serve as a business and strategic partner to the Enterprise leadership teams to ensure the financial, strategic, and operational objectives for the business are met. This role will make an impact on the trajectory of the Sales, Marketing & Support organizations and provide for the opportunity to dive deep into analytics critical to the organization's success and aid strategic decision making in a SAAS environment.

The ideal candidate is a well-rounded performer with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, who thrives in a fast-paced and demanding environment, and possesses a clear customer and operations focus. In this highly visible position, you will provide timely financial insights and outlook to drive data-driven decision making. This role will interface heavily with our Private Equity owners, global entities and corporate personnel at various Executive levels across the organization.

Key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Provide thought leadership and financial support to run our forecasting, planning, and management reporting processes. Enable execution of business priorities while maintaining financial goals.
  • Support various weekly and monthly reporting, preparation of Management Review Packages, investor relations support, business forecasting, M&A modeling, and involvement with ad-hoc projects. 
  • Drive and identify business critical metrics and measure the impacts of business performance, delivering concrete insights and providing recommendations to influence business outcome.
  • Establish a culture of continuous improvement with a focus on helping your business partners to be successful.
  • Lead/support organizational initiatives and projects as needed.
  • Drive system evolution and application investment in critical systems like SFDC, NetSuite, and Adaptive. 

First 90 Days

  • Gain an in-depth understanding of our business model and how we measure results.
  • Become proficient with Adaptive Insights, our planning and reporting tool.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with business leaders and key stakeholders.
  • Monitor actual financial performance and compare budget and/or forecast projections, analyze and interpret variances, prepare a variety of reports and provide recommendations in coordination with the business segments.

Ongoing

  • Develop, measure and analyze performance against operating plans, KPI's, and communicates results to help drive greater accountability.
  • Leverage an understanding of the business context to synthesize financial and operational data into meaningful business insights that highlight performance, risk, and opportunities.
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify, track and report on key business metrics which will help the organization scale as the business grows.
  • Complete monthly investor deck and partner with Accounting and the Business to seek analytical insights.
  • Coordinate and work with other departments to provide necessary information regarding accounts driving continued excellence/improvements.
  • Support Debt compliance reporting, ensuring no covenant gaps.
  • Assist with diligence and M&A activities as directed.

Qualifications (Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):

  • 5+ years of progressive Finance experience with demonstrated ability and track record of success in team leadership and business partnership.
  • Experience in Business Partnering is required.
  • Health tech or SaaS industry experience is required.
  • FP&A experience with SFDC, NetSuite and Adaptive is preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong customer focus with the demonstrated ability to build long-term relationships.
  • Strong ability to effectively handle multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Prior experience with Private equity backed growth companies.
  • Expert excel skills. Hands-on experience leveraging BI & Data Visualization tools to drive automation (Domo, Adaptive, etc.) is strongly preferred.
  • High aptitude and enthusiasm for complex problem-solving utilizing financial modeling.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including proven ability to work comfortably with senior executives.
  • Comfortable handling confidential information.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate potentially detailed and complex information to others.

Travel

Up to 10% travel, based on business needs.  While our roles are 100% remote, we do get together a few times a year for up to one week.  Employees are given ample notice and attendance is expected.

This position operates in a professional work environment and requires the use of standard office equipment such as a computer, keyboard, mouse, webcam, and phone.

Staritas posts compensation ranges and benefits for all open roles. The compensation range for this position is $120,000 - $140,000, plus a comprehensive benefits package. Compensation offered will depend on factors including experience, skills, geographic location, and internal equity.
