This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Revenue Accountant in the United States.
This role offers a critical opportunity to manage and oversee revenue accounting processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with ASC 606. You will analyze revenue trends, maintain schedules, and provide actionable insights to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic initiatives. Working closely with cross-functional teams including Finance, Revenue Cycle, and Operations, you will enhance visibility into revenue performance and streamline reporting processes. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with large datasets while contributing to process improvements and automation initiatives. The role is remote, offering flexibility while enabling collaboration with multiple stakeholders.
\n- Execute monthly revenue close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Maintain and validate revenue schedules, deferral balances, and contract allocations in compliance with ASC 606.
- Perform trend analysis and generate insights on revenue mix, volumes, pricing, and drivers.
- Support audit preparation and documentation for revenue, deferred revenue, and contract assets/liabilities.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and internal reporting packages for Finance leadership.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, Revenue Cycle, Operations, and Data teams to ensure data integrity and process efficiency.
- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements, supporting automation and system optimization initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 4–7+ years of revenue or general accounting experience; public accounting and industry experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of ASC 606 and revenue recognition principles.
- Experience with ERP or revenue automation tools such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Zuora, or Salesforce.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and modeling.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- CPA or CPA-eligible preferred.
- Experience in healthcare or multi-location service businesses is a plus.
- Familiarity with cash waterfall modeling and revenue systems implementation is advantageous.
- Annual salary range: $90,000–$105,000.
