DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a(n) Sr. Manager, Data, Finance Tech, located in Raynham, MA, West Chester, Pennsylvania, and Raritan, NJ, United States.
This role provides senior leadership across data, analytics, and finance technology capabilities supporting DePuy Synthes’ financial operations and strategic decision‑making. The Sr. Manager will partner closely with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to modernize data platforms, strengthen data governance, and deliver scalable, insight‑driven solutions. This is a high‑impact role that helps shape how financial data is leveraged across the organization to drive performance, transparency, and transformation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the strategy, delivery, and ongoing optimization of finance data and analytics platforms, ensuring alignment with business priorities and enterprise standards.
Partner with Finance leadership to translate reporting, planning, and analytics needs into scalable technology and data solutions.
Oversee data architecture, integration, and quality for finance systems, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability of financial data.
Establish and enforce data governance, controls, and compliance practices in alignment with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Manage and develop a team of data and finance technology professionals, including goal setting, coaching, and performance management.
Collaborate with cross‑functional IT and digital teams to support system upgrades, cloud migrations, and automation initiatives.
Drive continuous improvement through process standardization, automation, and advanced analytics capabilities.
Act as a senior stakeholder for finance technology initiatives, providing clear communication, risk management, and delivery accountability.
Qualifications
Education
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field
Preferred: Master’s degree (MBA, MS, or equivalent) in a relevant discipline
Experience and Skills
Required:
8-10 years of experience leading finance data, analytics, or enterprise technology functions in a complex organization
Strong background in financial systems, data platforms, reporting, and analytics
Demonstrated people leadership experience, including managing managers and/or senior individual contributors
Experience with data governance, controls, and compliance in a regulated environment
Strong communication, change leadership, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred:
Experience supporting ERP, EPM, or financial reporting platforms
Exposure to cloud‑based data architectures and advanced analytics tools
Background in MedTech, healthcare, or other regulated industries
Experience leading large‑scale transformation or modernization initiatives
Strong understanding of financial planning, reporting, and performance management processes
Proven ability to partner with senior finance and business leaders
Other:
Language: English (business‑fluent)
Travel: Up to 10–20%, primarily domestic
Certifications: PMP, Agile, data or cloud certifications preferred but not required

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
245,000 - 122,000 USDAdditional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
