The Sr. Material Controller is responsible for executing and coordinating material handling, inventory control, and ERP transactions to support production and customer commitments.

 

This role independently resolves issues and supports consistent execution of material control processes in accordance with established procedures and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Issue and transact materials to orders
  • Receive, store, and distribute materials per GMP procedures
  • Ensure timely and accurate execution of material handling and ERP transactions
  • Inventory control, traceability and maintenance of material
  • Maintain organized work areas and proper material storage practices
  • Ensure proper labeling, storage and FIFO practices
  • Support and recommend process improvements
  • Ensure ERP accuracy, troubleshoot inventory discrepancies and resolve transaction errors
  • Follow standard work and compliance requirements
  • Act as a resource for cross-functional coordination related to materials
  • Train and mentor team members
  • Support cycle count programs and inventory accuracy initiatives
  • Escalate unresolved discrepancies or systemic inventory issues to site leadership or Supply Chain Management
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • 4-6+ years relevant experience
  • Strong inventory control knowledge
  • Proven problem-solving skills
  • Advanced ERP/MRP system knowledge
  • Strong computer skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Epicor ERP experience
  • Experience in inventory management or supply chain operations
  • Experience in shipping/receiving
  • Familiarity with GMP/ISO standards

Physical Demands

  • Light office duties.
  • May need to lift items up to 40 lbs. as needed.
  • Fast-paced, physically demanding work environment

Compensation

The compensation for this role is competitive and will be based on experience and qualifications. The anticipated range is $22.00 – $28.00/hour.
