What You'll Do:
The Vice President of Finance is a senior finance leader responsible for driving financial performance, reimbursement optimization, and fiscal discipline across a large, multi-state long-term care portfolio. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role partners closely with clinical, operational, and regional leadership to ensure strong budgeting, reimbursement integrity, and compliance practices while supporting high-quality resident care.
Key Responsibilities of an Accountant:
Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process for all Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living centers.
Monitor monthly financial performance, variances, and trends; provide clear insights and actionable recommendations to executive and operational leaders.
Support center-level leaders with financial analysis, productivity management, and cost-containment strategies.
Oversee financial aspects of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care reimbursement models, including PDPM and state-specific Medicaid programs.
Partner with clinical and reimbursement teams to optimize case-mix, documentation accuracy, and revenue capture.
Analyze reimbursement trends and identify opportunities to improve margin while maintaining compliance and quality standards.
Ensure strong fiscal governance, internal controls, and financial policies are consistently applied across all centers.
Support regulatory compliance related to reimbursement, audits, cost reports, and payer requirements.
Partner with internal and external audit teams to address findings and strengthen financial controls.
Serve as a trusted financial advisor to operations, clinical leadership, and regional teams.
Lead, mentor, and develop finance and reimbursement team members.
Contribute to enterprise-wide initiatives including growth, acquisitions, integrations, and system enhancements.

Rate of Pay
USD $200,000.00 - USD $225,000.00 /Yr.-
What You'll Bring:
Qualifications of the Vice President of Finance:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required; MBA or CPA preferred
10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, preferably in healthcare or long-term care
Strong knowledge of Skilled Nursing Facility reimbursement, including Medicare PDPM and Medicaid rate structures
Experience supporting multi-site operations with complex regulatory requirements
Strong analytical, budgeting, and financial modeling skills
Deep understanding of healthcare reimbursement and regulatory compliance
Proven ability to partner with non-finance leaders and translate financial data into operational action
Excellent leadership, communication, and change-management skills
