We are seeking an accountant who has a passion for numbers. Do you have an affinity for spreadsheets along with the ability to interpret them for others, and a desire to make the healthcare experience better for patients?  

About the Role:

As an accountant at our Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), you’ll be our finance specialist preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports that support Neighborhood in decision-making, while keeping an eye on cost. You’ll report directly to the Vice President of Finance and work with a team that is focused on providing high quality patient-centered care. Key responsibilities include:

• Prepare financial data entry and financial report creation. 
• Carry out pharmacy revenue cycle
• Analyze and summarize financial statements
• Support payroll and accounts payable responsibilities

You will be primarily based at our Northwest location, 155 Lawn Ave, Buffalo NY 14207, but may also occasionally travel to other Neighborhood sites.

Education and Experience: 

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
• CPA preferred
• 1-5 years of accounting experience
• FQHC or healthcare experience preferred
• Attention to detail; organized
• Knowledge of Excel, Sage accounting software, UKG, Liberty Pharmacy Software, Verity Pharmacy software, preferred
• Kindness: you treat each person with respect and compassion, valuing each person’s story
• Resiliency: you see opportunities to innovate and find solutions when challenges arise
• Teamwork: you are open to others’ unique perspectives, and will collaborate to meet shared goals

What We Offer:

Compensation: $68,000 - $72,000
