Position Summary
The Assistant Vice President of Finance is responsible for supporting the Chief Financial Officer in the oversight and administration of Best Point’s financial operations. This position provides leadership for financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, internal controls, and operational finance activities to support organizational effectiveness, fiscal accountability, and informed decision-making.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required;
- CPA or MBA preferred.
- Requires 7–10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Advise the CFO on financial strategy and growth.
- Develop financial strategies that support sustainability and mission impact.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and analysis.
- Ensure accurate, timely monthly, quarterly, annual, month-end, and year-end reporting.
- Maintain internal controls and compliance with GAAP, nonprofit standards, regulations, and funding requirements.
- Manage audits, tax filings, and related compliance activities.
- Monitor revenue, expenses, productivity, and provider performance using internal and external benchmarks.
- Oversee financial management of grants, contracts, and funding sources.
- Provide analysis to guide funding, program, and organizational decisions.
- Lead, mentor, and develop finance staff.
- Partner across teams to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
Work Environment:
