Job Description
Highlights of your role:
Directs general accounting and financial operations, including accounts payable, financial and statistical reporting, cash receipting, financial counseling, and financial planning/administration. Is responsible for control over the disbursement of funds. Assists the CFO with Medicare/Medicaid cost reports, budgeting, surveys, and financial analysis. Hires and trains new finance office staff. Ensures compliance with industry rules and regulations. Completes other assignments as assigned by the CFO.

Pay: $128,814 - $193,232
What you’ll get to do in this role:
Provides on-site leadership of finance staff supporting general ledger, budget, AP, AR, financial counseling, and financial planning functions.
Prepares monthly financial statement for CFO's review
Assists with the preparation of third-party reports, including the Medicare/Medicaid cost reports
Assists with the annual audit and works closely with auditors throughout the year
Responds to requests from the IRS, insurance agents, and other regulators
Expected to be a "hands on" leader
Works collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team
Trains new accounting staff on essential job duties
You’re an excellent fit, if you have:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Minimum of 5 years of experience, healthcare preferred
- Certified Public Accountant strongly preferred
- Strong Knowledge of GAAP Accounting
- Experience leading a team
