GL Accountant – Full Time
 
Salary: $65k - 85k, annually, DOE.
Position Type: Full Time, exempt employee / Hybrid work schedule
Location: This position is based at our Service Centers in Dallas, TX.

About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a General Ledger Accountant who is interested in working full time to support key accounting functions that include reviewing expenses, posting journal entries, and preparing detailed monthly and quarterly P&L reports. Additionally, you will work closely with facility operators to ensure all deadlines and deliverables are met.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete expense reviews.
  • Post journal entries.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly detailed P&L packages and partner with the operators of the respective assigned facilities Ensure that deadlines and deliverables are met.
  • Monitor applicable SOX controls Complete month-end internal controls.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records, paperwork, and documentation. 
  • Partner with like-minded people as well as our front-line operators to ensure their financial success and provide them the ability to care for those in need.
  • Devote yourself to continuous learning, development, and find new ways to challenge yourself.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, required.
  • 2+ years of accounting and/or public accounting experience, required.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with excellent attention to detail have always been your thing.
  • Ability to manage and meet challenging deadlines while simultaneously prioritizing projects.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
