POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled FP&A professional to serve as a strategic finance partner across the organization, with a focus on Net Sales. This role provides critical financial insights, supports decision-making, and drives business performance in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. This is a hybrid role based in our Deerfield, IL office.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: 

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools. 
  • Experience with FP&A planning systems (e.g., OneStream preferred). 
  • Proven ability to build financial models and perform variance analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy.

Level of Experience: 

  • 5–8+ years of FP&A or commercial finance experience 
  • Medical device industry experience preferred.

Level of Education: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred). 

Travel: 

  • As needed (up to 25%).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Line Manager Duties:

  • Provide clear direction, coaching, and performance management to support team development and achievement of AirLife goals.
  • Align team’s objectives with AirLife priorities, ensuring compliance, promoting a culture of accountability, and upholding AirLife values.
  • Take accountability and ownership for actively participating in recruitment processes and supporting fair treatment in disciplinary processes for your team.
  • Drive continuous improvement by fostering innovation, operational excellence, and adoption of best practices within the team.
  • Champion employee engagement, inclusion, and career development through regular check-ins, talent reviews, and succession planning.
  • Manage your team’s budget responsibly and exhibit financial accountability.

Individual Contributor Duties:

  • Manage monthly net sales reporting, including net sales flash and reporting by region, channel, and product 
  • Own gross-to-net sales analysis, including all variance drivers 
  • Serve as subject matter expert for price / volume / mix analysis 
  • Lead net sales budgeting and forecasting processes 
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to support S&OP alignment 
  • Collaborate with pricing and analytics teams to optimize pricing strategies 
  • Work with Accounting on accruals and contra-revenue accounts 
  • Develop financial models and business cases for strategic initiatives 
  • Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership 
  • Support ad hoc analysis, including ROI and investment decisions.
