Job Description
Job Summary
To oversee the maintaining of OCHN accurate financial records for the preparation of financial reports due to internal and external stakeholders. Ensure the preparation of monthly financials due to various internal stakeholders.
Essential Functions
- Preparing monthly financials.
- Manage preparation for annual MDHHS reporting and organizational audits.
- Manage annualauditscompletion.
- Provide individual supervision and direction for team members as needed, including ongoing plans that allow for continued growth and development.
- Supervise the preparation of theOCHN’s Audit Financial Statementsas well asA-133 single auditsin accordance withGenerally Accepted Accounting Principles(GAAP)and(GASB), and acts as liaison with outside auditors in all audit related matters.
- Managingpreparation of annual budgetand amendments.
- Making recommendations for accountingpoliciesupdates and changes or language listed within OCHN contracts.
Job Requirements and Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Public Administration,Economics,or related discipline.
Training Requirements (licenses, programs, or certificates):
Experience Requirements:
- Four (4) years’ experience in financial analysis, business administration, cost accounting, general accounting,governmental fund accounting, systems analysis, personnel administration, orrelated area. NOTE: A master's degree in one of the fields listed above may be substituted for one (1) year of relevant work experience.
- Experience with preparation of localgovernmentsfinancial statements.

- Knowledge of OMB Compliance Supplement and MDHHS audit guidance.

- Must have available means of transportation to and from OCHN and for required offsite meetings or site visits.
- Must be available for meetings and events which may occur outside of standard office hours.
- Work performed primarily in an office environment.
- Hybrid (onsite/remote) work schedule available.
