We are seeking a strategic and analytical Senior Finance Manager to serve as a trusted financial partner for our Third-Party Administrator (TPA) operations. In this role, you will translate complex financial data into actionable insights that guide organizational leaders in making informed decisions on budgets, expenses, and investments. You will own planning, forecasting, and reporting for all personnel and non-personnel TPA expenses, while collaborating closely with Finance and operational leaders on key initiatives. This role requires a blend of technical financial expertise, strong business partnering skills, and the ability to communicate insights to non-finance stakeholders. Your work will directly impact organizational efficiency, financial discipline, and the ability of leaders to execute strategies within targets. This is a high-impact, collaborative position in a mission-driven, fast-paced environment.
\n- Maintain comprehensive headcount forecasts including salaries, bonuses, benefits, taxes, and capitalization.
- Analyze and manage vendor spend forecasts to monitor non-personnel expenses and identify optimization opportunities.
- Partner with business leaders to provide guidance on expense budgets, ad hoc financial requests, and investment decisions.
- Lead monthly expense reviews, ensuring accurate month-end accruals and collaboration with Controllership.
- Develop and present OpEx reports, leading monthly review meetings to drive expense visibility and accountability.
- Support annual and quarterly planning processes, including forecasting, target setting, and implementing plans within established financial limits.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses for TPA initiatives to inform prioritization and investment decisions.
- Oversee project accounting for TPA initiatives, ensuring financial alignment and accurate tracking of costs.
- Maintain and optimize financial planning systems, driving adoption and improvements to increase functionality and efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, ideally in TPA or healthcare operations.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and Power BI; experience with Anaplan and NetSuite preferred.
- Exceptional analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights for non-finance leaders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting complex financial information clearly.
- Proven ability to build strong business partnerships and influence organizational decision-making.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Base salary range: $115,000–$130,000, depending on location, experience, and skills.
