Overview

Position Summary:

Under supervision, responsible for product cost oversight, operations income statement detail, and inventory analysis. Prepares all related reporting information. Performs financial analysis and participates in special projects, as required.

Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities

Essential Functions:

Analyzes and prepares reporting package for Manufacturing department
Analyzes product costing results and variances to standard cost.
Participates in the preparation of the annual budgets for Manufacturing department
Interprets financial operating results and makes recommendations for cost reduction and profit improvement
Provides reliable data and looks for ways to continually enhance the quality of the information provided and the responsiveness of the team to the changing needs of the business

Skills & Capabilities:

Qualifications

Minimum Knowledge & Experience Required for the Position:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.

Experience:

Minimum of three years’ experience in a cost accounting, FP&A or related function required.
Experience with product cost/cost accounting activities.
Experience with SAP preferred.

Additional Skills/Knowledge:

Working knowledge of the concepts, principles, and practices of accounting and financial reporting
Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Excel
Language: Proficiency in English Language required.

Travel Requirements:

Up to 5% of time

The annual base salary range for this role is currently $70,000 range to $90,000 range. Individual employee compensation will ultimately depend on factors including education, relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, and particular business needs.

This role is eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k plan retirement benefits with an employer match, as well as paid vacation and sick leave. Our sales roles are eligible for participation in a commission plan and our management, and select professional roles, are eligible for a performance-based bonus.
