  • Conduct financial analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making; present findings and recommendations to management.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP (and IFRS where applicable) and maintain strong internal controls.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including headquarters in Korea) to gather financial data, resolve accounting issues, and support business initiatives.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by preparing documentation, coordinating responses, and implementing audit recommendations.
  • Mentor and support junior accounting staff as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA license strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing, medical devices, biotech, or a similar industry.

  • Advanced proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, NetSuite, or equivalent) and Microsoft Excel (including advanced functions, pivot tables, and data analysis).
  • In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP, tax regulations, and multi-state compliance.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of multi-state and international tax compliance.
  • Prior experience supporting audits in a regulated industry (FDA, medical device, or biotech preferred).
