Tasks and Responsibilities:
As a Finance Intern, you will support daily financial activities and assist the department with reporting and analysis tasks. You will gain exposure to healthcare financial processes and learn how financial decisions support operational goals. The role offers a supportive environment where you can strengthen your technical and communication skills. You will work closely with experienced finance team members and contribute to projects that improve efficiency and reporting accuracy.
- Assist with preparing financial reports and spreadsheets for monthly reviews.
- Support budget tracking and help organize financial data for department use.
- Review invoices and expense records while maintaining accurate documentation.
- Participate in financial analysis projects and help identify reporting trends.
- Collaborate with team members on administrative and finance-related tasks.
Essential Duties:
The Finance Intern will provide operational and administrative support to the healthcare finance team. This role requires professionalism, accuracy, and the ability to manage confidential financial information. Interns will have opportunities to participate in projects that improve reporting processes and financial efficiency. The position also supports learning and development through hands-on experience in a hospital or health system environment.

Responsibilities
We are seeking candidates who are currently pursuing a degree and have an interest in healthcare finance or accounting. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, organized, and comfortable working in a professional office environment. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Prior internship or office experience is helpful but not required.
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree program in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information responsibly.
