About the Job
We are hiring a motivated Staff Accountant to work at CardioOne! The Staff Accountant will be responsible for applying accepted accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information, prepare accurate and timely financial reports, and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures are followed. You will report to the Controller.
What you’ll do:
Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and statutory reporting requirements.
Prepare income and balance sheet statements, consolidated statements, and various other accounting statements and reports.
Perform monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
Analyze financial data and investigate account variances and discrepancies.
Coordinate accounting matters with other departments and functions throughout the business.
Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense management processes.
Support external audit and tax requests by gathering required documentation.
What you’ll need:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
1-3 years of accounting experience required.
Understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
Strong Excel skills and familiarity with formulas.
Ability to analyze numerical data and maintain accuracy.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to learn quickly, take direction, and build confidence over time.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
High degree of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
Customer service mindset and willingness to collaborate across teams.
Work Location:
Remote: Colorado (Denver preferred), Delaware, Florida, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Texas.
Additional Information:
This is a full-time role starting at $65,000 to $75,000 and includes medical, dental, and vision benefits along with a matching 401K.
